Karma & Jonar is an animated series consisting of 12×11 minute episodes. The first season was produced by Viaplay Animation Studios, an internal studio at Viaplay that has since been shut down.

Karma & Jonar are based on a series of popular children’s books, about two children from rivalling families who find friendship with each other.

Responsibilities

During this project I acted as lead animator. I led a team of around 10 animators. I helped form the pipeline and developed tools for the animation production. I also storyboarded some of the scenes (an example of which you can see in the top reel)

The production used motion capture as a base. I helped out during the shoot and got to direct the actors for some of the action scenes. You can see a few examples of my motion capture editing in the reel below.
